The Validators on egldscan.io give you a complete overview of the nodes securing the MultiversX network. You can explore individual validators, staking providers, their stake, performance, and rewards.

What are Validators on MultiversX?

MultiversX uses Secure Proof-of-Stake (SPoS) consensus. Validators run nodes that propose and validate blocks, helping secure the network in return for EGLD rewards.

  • Validator Node: A server that participates in consensus.
  • Staking Provider: A service that allows users to delegate their EGLD (most users stake this way).
  • Minimum Stake: 2,500 EGLD per validator node.

As of now, the network has ~400 validators (including staking providers) and thousands of nodes, with over 17.5 million EGLD staked.

How Staking Works on MultiversX

  1. Delegate your EGLD to a staking provider (as little as 1 EGLD).
  2. The provider runs validator nodes.
  3. Rewards are distributed at the end of each epoch (roughly every 24 hours).
  4. Providers charge a commission (usually 10–20%).

Current Network Stats :

  • Total Staked: ~17.5M EGLD (~66% of circulating supply)
  • Average APR: ~8% (varies by provider)
  • Active Users Staking: 126,000+

Why Validators Matter

Validators are the backbone of MultiversX. A healthy, decentralized validator set protects the network against attacks and ensures high performance (up to 15,000+ TPS).

By choosing the right staking provider, you contribute to network security while earning competitive rewards.

Benefits of Using egldscan.io Validators

  • Real-time data updates
  • Detailed provider profiles
  • Historical performance charts
  • Direct delegation links (when integrated)
  • Clean comparison tools
  • Mobile-friendly interface

Types of Validators

  • Individual Validators — Run their own nodes
  • Staking Providers / Agencies — Accept delegations from the community (most popular option)
  • Observer Nodes — Do not participate in consensus but help with data syncing
